AS PROMISED, WE’RE BRINGING YOU CERSAIE: IT’S A CLICK AWAY.

The High Point Fall Market kicks off on October 17th. Baker takes the Bill Sofield Collection, the André Arbus Collection and the Pagini Collection, which includes the Anneau table lamp, to market. Apsleys Debuts at the Lanesborough

Designed by Adam Tihany, Heinz Beck’s first restaurant outside Italy has just debuted in the Lanesborough Hotel in London. The 1719 structure, which includes a glassed conservatory roof above the restaurant, was originally built as a country retreat for the second Viscount Lanesborough. Tihany chose contemporary elements, such as the bold patterns and oversized chandeliers, to complement the hotel’s traditional Regency style.

The Design Center of the Americas, home to an array of sumptuous products (Brunschwig & Fils shown here), teams up with Florida International Magazine to present “The Art of Entertaining” on Saturday, October 17, from 11 am to 5 pm. The day will include shopportunities and access to insider trade secrets. Chefs Didier Lalheugue of Au Pied a Cachon, Sam Gorenstein of BLT Steak, Alex Pinero of Fratelli Lyon at Driade and Jeff Andriola of Timo add exquisite taste to the day’s menu, which explores audio visual, interior, floral fragrance and culinary design. Jane Hamley Wells has collaborated with designers Monica Graffeo, Matteo Ragni and Iliaria Marelli to offer Euro3Plasts’ Plus T Collection, some of which are lit-from-within for light-hearted fun. Ragni’s Rebelot Light (right) is in the new collection, which is suitable for both indoors and out. The groovy shapely line also comes in bright colors, pastels, metalics and black.

Phillip Jeffries Ltd. has introduced a new collection of wallpaper with a lyrical personality. Reeds is made of strips of raffia hand-pressed between two layers of paper in a three-dimensional vertical pattern that mimics the feel of authentic reeds. The papers are treated to a wash of color and then a stain-repellent finish. Color choices include Papyrus, Wheat Stalk, Thatch Brown, Viridian Fields and Thicket Green.

EVEN IF YOU HATE TO COOK AND YOU SEE THE BATHROOM AS A ROOM TO DASH THROUGH AS YOU ZIP INTO AND OUT OF THE SHOWER, DON’T MISS THESE NEW PRODUCTS FOR KITCHENS & BATHS. IT’S A CHEAP TRICK, BUT HERE’S A LITTLE MUSIC FOR YOUR TOUR. (WANT ANYTHING YET?)

Flea markets, thrift shops and attics are what dreams are made of for Cecilia Moreno-Yaghoubi. She calls her creations “assemblages” because they reflect the minutiae in collecting and creating her installations, which she pieces together from discarded materials, antiques and random, found objects to address jarring topics from childhood. The exhibition is on view at the Colombia Consulate in Miami through October 30.

“Vienna Biedermeier: The Art of Walnut” is on view at Iliad in New York through December 30. “The most essential and characteristic element of fine Biedermeier furniture is the luxuriously veneered surface,” say Iliad co-owners Adam Brown and Andrea Zemel. “Vienna’s infatuation with Walnut was profound, and between 1815 and 1830 it was a love affair that dominated all aspects of the spare and elegant furniture that has become known as the forerunner of the modernist movement.” Highlights in the show include an exceptional Biedermeier Trumeau Commode with a drop-front desk and vitrine in bookmatched walnut veneer; a trumpet shaped, tilt-top Biedermeier Pedestal Table with bookmatched walnut veneer and maple inlays; a Rare Biedermeier Sofa attributed to the workshop of Josef Danhauser; an exceptional Biedermeier Library Table with unusual cog and gear design; and a set of four Biedermeier side chairs with heart-shaped backs.

Following on the heels of the New York museum’s show, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao will unveil a Frank Lloyd Wright exhibition on October 22, which will run through February 14, 2010. It will include 63 of Wright’s projects, which are illustrated by nearly 200 original drawings, historical and new scale models, and digital animations. Bilbao chose to stage this exhibition to celebrate the golden anniversary of the opening of the New York building, which was designed by Wright. It is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition Europe has ever dedicated to the visionary architect.
